Talk about the feud going to new levels. Since the near beginning of Major League Baseball, the Yankees and Red Sox have been bitter rivals with an unmatched history. Today a new chapter has been written in their history. This past week a construction worker who worked on the new Yankee Stadium announced that he had planted a David Ortiz Red Sox Jersey in the cement. Gino Castignoli placed the jersey last summer in the new legends club behind home plate. The Bronx resident, who hates the Yankees, worked one day to plant the jersey and throw a hex on the whole thing. Yankee crews spent 5 hours unearthing the jersey which was 2 ft deep in concrete. All in all it was playfully safe fun, but unfortunately the tight asses at Yankee headquarters didn’t find it funny. They are thinking about pressing charges and all that jazz. Who knows what will happen. I hope they don’t go hard on Gino. It’s all clean fun. Go Yankee’s!!!
