At the end of this NBA 2007/2008 season, the New York Knicks will finally move on from the Isiah Thomas era and his reign of mismanagement, scandal and most of all, lack of energy. NYCity basketball will move into a new chapter as the Knicks begin to rebuild from the most dismal era ever for any professional team (or at least one that thinks it’s professional). It’s too bad because from the beginning we all had high hopes for this squad of youngins and oldies. The NY native Starbury could have been different and lifted this team out of the slums and bring new fortunes to the organization and the city. The newbies could have flourished and grown together and be a cohesive team. But it didn’t happen. To many egos, to many bad moves, and not enough care. Till next time. So for all who are Knicks players, staff and minions…..GROW UP!!

The site is called Stuff White People Like

All they do is compile a list of all these different things that white people love but they do it with a side of humor. Peep this one.

“Though white people have a natural aversion to television, there are some exceptions. For white people to like a TV show it helps if it is: critically acclaimed, low-rated, shown on premium cable, and available as a DVD box set.

The latter is important so that white people can order it from Netflix and tell their friends “they are really into <insert series> and I watched ten episodes in a row in the weekend. I’m almost caught up.”

If you attempt to talk about an episode they have not seen yet, they will scream and cover their ears. In white culture, giving away information about a film or TV series is considered as rude as spitting on your mothers grave. It is an unforgivable offense.

Recent series that have fallen into this category include The Sopranos, Six Feet Under, and most recently The Wire.”
